Your files
Your story and rights remain yours.
Information we use
We may process your name, email address, order and delivery information, payment confirmation, customer-support messages and the book-production files you submit. We use this information only to evaluate, prepare, proof, print, deliver and support the service you request.
Free guide requests
If you request a free guide, we store your email address, the page where the request was made, the request time and whether the guide email was sent. We use this information to deliver the guide and prevent abuse. Requesting a guide does not automatically subscribe you to marketing email.
If you separately select the optional tips checkbox, we also record that choice and its timestamp so we may send occasional practical book-preparation emails. You may withdraw that choice at any time by replying “unsubscribe” or emailing support@yourbookbound.com.
Your files and ownership
We do not claim ownership of customer content. We do not list your book for public sale, use its contents in advertising or display its pages or cover without separate permission.
File retention
Uploaded production files are retained for up to 90 days after submission and then deleted, unless a shorter period is required by law or the file is needed to resolve an active support issue. Transaction and fulfilment records may be retained when required for accounting, tax, fraud prevention or legal obligations.
Website measurement
Google Analytics is optional.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate website traffic and which pages lead visitors to start or submit a free file check. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded unless you select “Accept analytics” in the privacy choice shown on this website.
If you decline, the Analytics tag is not loaded. Your choice is stored locally in your browser so the website can remember it. You can clear the site’s local storage in your browser to reset that choice.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, book contents, uploaded files or file names to Google Analytics. Our Analytics measurement ID is G-M9KC6RZHPW.
Service providers
Information may be shared with providers needed for secure storage, payment processing, production, tracked delivery, website measurement or customer support. They receive only the information required for their role.

Questions or deletion requests.
Adults only
Orders and uploads must be submitted by adults aged 18 or older. The service is marketed to parents, guardians and adult creators, not directly to children.
