What to upload for your free file check.
Send your completed book content in one of the formats below. It does not have to be print-ready: we will explain any preparation needed before you pay. Layout, corrections, cover design and proof revisions are all included in the $99 hardcover service.

Upload the finished PDF you want reviewed for production.
Word and RTF files
Layout preparation and conversion are included in the $99 service. Keep your completed text and intended images together in the file.
File size
Each uploaded file can be up to 100 MB.
Before sending
A short, useful check.
Interior file
Upload the complete interior in one accepted file. Use the version you want us to review. Keep the intended page order; we confirm the final page count and paper before preparing the spine.
Separate cover
Add a PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG if you already have a cover. It is optional at upload; cover design or adjustment and spine setup are included in the $99 service.
Word documents
A Word or RTF file may still need layout preparation. Keep the text and intended images together in the document. Interior layout is included in the same $99 price as a print-ready PDF.
Canva designs and separate images
Export completed Canva book pages as a PDF. The interior upload accepts PDF, DOC, DOCX and RTF—not a Canva editing link or separate JPG and PNG pages. If your pages are still separate images, email support for advice before submitting.
What not to upload
Do not include identity documents or payment information with your book files.
Book sizes, paper and page count
Tell us your preferences, or ask us to help you choose during the free file check.
Common sizes
A5 (148 × 210 mm), A4 (210 × 297 mm), and 8.5 × 11 inches.
Common paper options
Uncoated woodfree paper (offset paper) and double-sided coated art paper.
No page-count limit
Use the number of pages your content needs. We confirm your final size, paper and page count before production.
We confirm the specifications and service scope before you decide whether to pay. The 100 MB limit applies to each uploaded file, not to the number of pages.
